Hertfordshire residential development awards

The Hertfordshire Residential Development Awards is a black tie awards night and dinner for local property businesses in Hertfordshire.

ABOUT THE AWARDS

The awards are free to enter and the event will be run by East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity.  All proceeds from the event will go to this charity and be used to enhance patient experience at Lister Hospital, the new QEII and Hertford County Hospital.

The Hertfordshire Residential Development Awards took place on Wednesday 13 November 2024 at Sopwell House, in St Albans with special hosts, a three course dinner and award ceremony.

Damion Burrows, RIBA ARB, is the managing Director of DMBA. Before founding DMBA, Damion held several leadership roles in architectural practice where he managed and delivered a diverse portfolio of social and high-end residential projects in London and Manchester.

At DMBA, Damion focuses on steering a dedicated team through a range of new build and refurbishment projects across commercial and residential sectors. He brings his design flair, technical know-how and heritage sensitivity together to deliver outstanding solutions to complex urban design challenges that are commercially savvy whilst enhancing the character of the city.

Outside of DMBA Damion maintains a progressive approach to architecture, extending the reach of the discipline through media-related appearances on BBC and Channel 4 property programs, including RIBA House of the Year and Your Home Made Perfect. As a chair of RIBA London Council, judge for the RIBA South West Regional Awards and co-chair of the Lambeth, Greenwich and Westminster Design Review Panels, Damion makes a positive contribution by upholding design quality in London boroughs.

Rosie joined Harlequins from Saracens ahead of the 2021/22 season.
The lock made her Test debut against Ireland during the 2019 Six Nations, and featured in the Red Roses’ 2021/22 Grand Slam Six Nations triumph.
She featured in the squad that made the delayed final of the 2021 Rugby World Cup before featuring in England’s Grand Slam Six Nations campaign in 2023. Rosie returned to New Zealand later that year for the inaugural WXV1 tournament, helping England on their way to the title. She was recently named in John Mitchell’s squad for the Guinness Women’s Six Nations 2024.

ENTRY & Rules

The awards are free to enter and voting will be via a simple nomination process.

Any company or person that has worked within the residential development industry in Hertfordshire since June 2023 can be nominated for an award by their clients or industry peers. They should have an office or have worked on development in Hertfordshire any time after June 2023. The company, development or person with the most nominations will win.

A nomination counts as a vote. Voting is verified by use of an individual’s business email address. You can vote once per category, using the online entry form. Winners will be announced on the night of the awards.
